At Bloomfield Veterinary Clinic, our team is dedicated to providing dependable veterinary care for pets, livestock, and horses in Bloomfield and the surrounding communities. As a locally owned mixed-animal practice, we are proud to serve the families and producers of Northeast Nebraska.
VETERINARIANS
brady dierks, DVM
Dr. Brady grew up on a cow/calf ranch in central Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for undergrad and graduated with a major in animal science and a minor in chemistry in 2017.
Dr. Brady then went to Iowa State University for veterinary school and graduated in 2021. He is now a mixed animal veterinarian that especially enjoys the large animal side of veterinary medicine. He spends his free time outside hunting, fishing, helping out on his family ranch, and spending time with his wife, Dr. Ashley, and his two children, Amelia and Dawson.
ashley dierks, DVM
Dr. Ashley was raised on a farm with a small feedlot in northeast Nebraska. She attended undergrad at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated in 2017 with a major in animal science and a minor in chemistry.
She then graduated in 2021 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University. Dr. Ashley is now a mixed animal veterinarian that is especially interested in the small animal side of veterinary medicine. She likes to spend her free time with her husband, Dr. Brady, and her two children, Amelia and Dawson. She also enjoys being outdoors and reading.

REBECCA
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Rebecca currently lives in Pierce, Nebraska after growing up on a farm just south of town there. She has two dogs that are both 5 years old.
Rebecca enjoys being able to help animals in many different ways. She really likes the large animal side of things, but enjoys the small animal side, too!
In her free time, she likes to go trail riding on horse back and enjoys reading books. Her favorite animal is either a horse or a dog!

SOPHIE
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Sophie is originally from Cuming county, NE. She grew up in West Point and now lives in Osmond.
Sophie enjoys working with everyone’s pets and getting the chance to help them when they need it. She also enjoys having the ability to connect with the owners at the same time! Sophie likes having the variety of working with both small and large animals!
She enjoys going on walks with her dogs, camping, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
Sophie’s favorite animal is a toss up between a mini donkey and a dog. She has a female chocolate lab named Callie and a male golden retriever named Max.

CHARISSA
RECEPTIONIST
Charissa brings a lifelong passion for animal care and agriculture to her role at the clinic. Raised on a multi-species livestock operation that included registered Simmental cattle, show lambs, and show pigs, this early experience instilled a lifelong passion for animal care and agriculture.
Now residing in Center, Nebraska, Charissa and her family continue to raise show cattle, along with ranch horses, show pigs, and chickens. She is also actively involved in the family business, Sure Shot Ranch LLC. While she has worked with a variety of species, dogs remain her personal favorite.
Outside of work, Charissa enjoys showing livestock, horseback riding, and supporting her two children in their academic and athletic pursuits.
